There were celebrations in the Sixth Form Centre and on the colonnade this morning as DHSB students collected their GCSE results.
Pictured are Robert Waddy, Joseph Weeks, Tom Cooper, Joshua Porter and Nicholas Glasson who gained a total of 53 A* and A grade GCSEs. They represent a large group of students who achieved very highly.
Many boys took the opportunity this morning to enrol into our Sixth Form and will continue their learning with us in September.
We are delighted for our boys who can take their next steps with confidence. I am equally pleased for our staff as everyone at DHSB makes a contribution to sustained success.
Thank you to all staff and parents who were on hand today to offer congratulations, support, guidance and refreshments.
A group of students took part in interviews with the Plymouth Herald this morning so look out for coverage of our school in the local press.
GCSE student Jonathan Dunn is featured in the Western Morning News today as he plans to relaunch his own business Dunnrite. Read the full story here.
World Challenge
We are very pleased to welcome back Mrs Huq, Miss Calley and students from their World Challenge Expedition. They returned safely last week and have many stories to share!
