27 June 2014

Four residentials, 696 boys, 100 daily activities and the sun was shining – this was Curriculum Enrichment Week 2014.

Thanks to all staff and students for getting involved and contributing to a very special week. I’m looking forward to hearing more stories of your adventures next week.

Thanks also to Mr Coombes, Mrs Rasmussen and Mrs Donnelly for ensuring our boys have such a brilliant offer of enriching activities.

You will see here just a small selection of images from the week. For more photos please search for the Twitter hashtag #DHSBCEW

We also made our mark on the national and international stage this week.

Mrs Green and Mr Berryman spoke at the SSAT (The Schools Network) national conference in Twickenham and Mr Roberts was invited to deliver a keynote presentation about the innovative use of ICT at DHSB in Brunei.

Mr Roberts spoke to 600 teachers, Headteachers and government officials at their conference. It is fantastic to have the school profiled on the world stage and we look forward to seeing the development of future links.

We are looking forward to meeting Year 5 boys and their parents at our Open Evening on Wednesday 2nd July (from 6.00pm). During the same evening there will be an opportunity to visit our A level Art Exhibition.

You will all be made very welcome.
